To prepare for decommissioning projects, WTI conducts a radiological characterization of the controlled areas within the buildings to be decommissioned. The results serve as a planning basis for the decommissioning work, any necessary decontamination work, the release concept for the building structures to be created later and as a basis for the planned radiation and occupational safety measures. The results of the radiological characterization are presented by WTI, for example, in a result report and by means of a contamination register for the respective buildings.
