Sampling concepts are developed by WTI for both buildings and plant components, as well as for core components or other structures (e.g., biological shields). In a dose rate measurement concept, the type and scope of the dose rates to be measured are evaluated and determined. The results of the dose rate measurements and the insights gained from sampling are used, for example, to validate activity determinations.
