In the context of planning a nuclear facility, WTI provides consulting for complex tasks (e.g. facility security, radiology) and conducts feasibility studies. General planning at WTI includes all service phases, from basic evaluation and conceptual planning to design and approval planning, as well as implementation planning, tendering procedures, and subsequent site supervision. As part of the planning, computational verifications (e.g. shielding, radiology, heat dissipation, structural design) are required. WTI either performs these verifications itself or advises the client on the implementation by third parties. In addition to new nuclear facilities, WTI also plans modifications and refurbishments.
